The clubhouse has the woodwork and stonework from its origins as a 1920s farmhouse.

Championship course setting in a vacation spot on Lake Michigan. What more can I say. Challenging course to say the least with water, carry ranges and large greens all bunkered. You had better bring some extra golf balls but that is the fun of the course. I always schedule a couple groups from Crown Point to make the trip and play this location. They always go away loving the course. We always play this course at least 3-4 times each season even though we are over an hour away. In addition, they extend to our seniors great rates and show us that they care when we arrive. The pro shop and clubhouse indicates a championship course and the grill and restaurant is Chicago downtown quality. We are already planning on playing the course in the next few weeks. Why can this course be so inviting in a vacation spot setting? Because most play and visit during the weekends when all rates are high. Love this course.

A nice course in good condition, BUT... you better like to play right to left. Over half the holes play that way, 3, 9 10, 13, & 18 are very sharp right to left with several other holes being dogleg left. As I recall 12 holes play with the green to the left of the tee. I've played it several times. Since I played during the week I found it to be playable in 4 hours. Senior rate is available. Close to hotels and the Four Winds Casino.

Beautiful course with most of the holes carved out of the woods and secluded. Limited interaction with others on the course. Challenging but fair course. May need to play it a couple of times to score well.
